Position Overview:
The Senior Analyst, Corporate Social Responsibility is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring PETROS’ CSR strategy, including community engagement, sustainability, and philanthropic initiatives. This role supports the company’s social performance goals by managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing PETROS’ brand presence through impactful CSR programs. The position also involves evaluating the effectiveness of initiatives, preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders, and supporting cross-functional collaboration to drive meaningful social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for corporate social responsibility including donation and sponsorships, sustainability, and philanthropy.
- Perform an advisory role on social, economic, and environmental issues that may affect PETROS.
- Strategize and manage community partnerships and philanthropic programs
- Review the effectiveness of CSR programs and initiatives.
- Lead and implement CSR policies and program executions.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations as well as the industry standards.
- Strategize and compile key information pertaining to social performance, related engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead CSR activities to enhance PETROS brand presence to target stakeholders.
- Provide continuous communication and avocation stakeholders, including employees, shareholders, customers, and the community on CSR initiatives to improve stakeholder management effectiveness.
- Manage and mitigate issues to support business operations and foster a favourable public image for PETROS.
- Key liaison officer for the Company by way of connecting the Company leadership/ lead with identified key stakeholders through various platforms effectively.
- Drive active collaboration of company’s CSR objectives to internal and external stakeholders as well as NGOs.
- Coordinate volunteer and charity work efforts within the organization.
- Monitor and report on company’s CSR performance to management/ExCom/relevant parties within PETROS.
- Prepare, design, and monitor of a long-term CSR investment strategy that effectively addresses community needs.
- Provide directions to the Company business units or Project team to drive successful initiatives and programs focusing on identifying key stakeholders.
- Lead and monitor Social Performance reporting and other prescribed reporting for the Company covering all areas of the business, including reporting to external stakeholders, boards and other agencies.
- Manage data and record keeping for presentations, minutes, attendance registers and other relevant data to ensure that these are maintained and collated on the company’s knowledge repository/ available systems.
- Manage the development of reports under the department.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant degrees such as bachelor's degree or master's in Economics, Business Administration, Sustainability or Social Economics, Mass Communications or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in related CSR, community programs and stakeholders’ relations (experience in the energy industry/ oil and gas is an added advantage but not compulsory) or proven experience in Corporate Social Responsibility or a related field.
- Strong network and exposure to various levels of government and corporate environment.
- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
- Experience in project management and execution of PR campaigns and/or initiatives.
- Possess some experience in copywriting and editing.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, presentation and writing skills.
- Proficient in different social media platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
- Additional certification by an accredited body in social performance is an added advantage.
