Reservoir Engineering Advisor

WHAT IS THE JOB ABOUT?

  • Provide reservoir engineering expertise to PETROS to support deal and acquisition, manage Non-Operated Venture (NOV) and as onshore regulatory.
  • Support achieving production and recovery targets from mature fields through rigorous reservoir and well surveillance and intervention planning.
  • Advisory role for reservoir engineering and Annual Review of Petroleum Resources (ARPR).
  • Support petroleum engineering related technology deployment and development of local enterprises.
  • Coaching and development of local capabilities.

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY?

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 15 years of  Reservoir Engineering experience, with input into the Field Development Planning process and asset technical assurance in Production Sharing Contract / Joint Venture environment.
  • Experience in subsurface operations including surface modelling, carbonate experience, and onshore experience would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated broad experience and commitment towards Health, Safety, Security and Environment and Sustainable Development principles.
  • Prior experience in exploration, producing assets, implementing Well, Reservoir and Facilities Management (WRFM) plans, operational drilling support, well and reservoir integrity and well lifecycle management is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and networking skills are essential.
  • Willingness to travel to asset/business locations as required.
