PETROS invites ambitious students and recent graduates to join our Internship Programme, designed to provide hands-on experience in a professional setting while developing essential industry skills. We seek bold individuals who exhibit a "Learner’s Mindset" and a drive for excellence.

The PETROS Internship Programme is a structured, immersive experience designed for high-performing degree holders who are ready to step out of the classroom and into the dynamic world of the energy sector. Whether your passion lies in technical engineering or corporate strategy, this program provides a platform to accelerate your development, build a professional network, and gain a realistic preview of a career in the industry. 

Internship Programme Details:

• Position: Intern (various departments).
• Location: Kuching/Bintulu/Miri.
• Duration: Minimum 12 weeks.
• Internship Intake: Every quarter.

Qualifications:

• Minimum CGPA 3.0 or higher.
• Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university and currently pursuing a programme in relevant academic program or related discipline where internship is a mandatory part of course completion.
• Be able to work full-time during the internship period.
• A great team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess the necessary skills and qualifications required for the internship position.

Application Process:

To apply for an internship at PETROS, students must submit the following:

• A resume
• A copy of your recent or final academic transcripts
• A copy of official Industrial Training/Internship Letter (signed by the University)

Selection Process:

The selection process for internships at PETROS will include an initial review of applications. Some applications may be followed by interviews with selected candidates by the hiring manager.

Step 1: Submit and complete online application through PETROS Career site.

Step 2: Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a phone/face-to-face interview by the potential supervisor and HR.

Step 3: Successful candidate will be offered placement with PETROS. Only online applications with ALL the required documents submitted via PETROS Career site will be entertained. Postal/courier/email applications will not be processed and accepted. Please note that there are limited slots available for each business unit, so early applications are highly encouraged.
