Position Overview 

The Head (Talent Management) leads the design and execution of a robust talent ecosystem that supports the company’s rapid growth and long-term sustainability. This role is responsible for shaping how PETROS identifies, develops, and accelerates its people, with a strong focus on leadership pipeline, performance management, succession planning, and capability development. The role will work closely with Executive Committees (EXCOM) and business leaders to ensure that PETROS builds a strong bench of leaders and critical talent to deliver its strategic ambitions

 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the development and execution of PETROS’s talent management strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term growth plans, including leadership pipeline and workforce sustainability.
  • Drive enterprise-wide performance management processes, including goal setting, calibration, rating governance, and capability-building for quality performance conversations.
  • Lead succession planning and People Development Panel (PDP) processes to identify high-potential talent, critical role successors, and readiness pipelines across PETROS.
  • Design and implement leadership and capability development programmes to strengthen managerial and leadership bench strength at all levels.
  • Establish career pathways, internal mobility frameworks, and employee development initiatives to support retention, growth, and future capability needs.
  • Develop talent analytics, reporting, and governance frameworks to provide data-driven insights for EXCOM and Board-level people decisions while continuously improving talent processes.

 

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Capital, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in talent management, leadership development, or HR strategy.
  • Strong experience in performance management, succession planning, and leadership development frameworks.
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or equivalent.
  • Experience in large, complex, or fast-growing organisations is highly preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with senior leadership.
