Position Overview:
As part of our Graduate Recruitment Campaign, we are offering a two-year apprenticeship program designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and practical experience needed to excel in your chosen field. This Graduate Engineer role offers structured exposure and hands-on experience across upstream disciplines such as geoscience, reservoir engineering, production technology, wells engineering and drilling engineering. Graduates will undergo individually tailored training programs, combining technical and non-technical skills, while collaborating with cross-functional teams on real projects and initiatives. This position provides an excellent foundation to build technical expertise, embrace continuous learning, and grow into a well-rounded professional within PETROS’ upstream business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in on-the-job training, gaining hands-on experience in your chosen field (geoscience, reservoir engineering, production technology, drilling engineering)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute in upstream projects and initiatives.
- Engage in individually tailored training programs covering technical and non-technical skills.
- Support project teams in evaluating new opportunities, conducting risk assessments, and implementing sustainable practices.
- Learn and apply industry-leading digital tools, analytics, and innovative technologies in upstream operations.
- Embrace opportunities for continues learning and improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field (Geology/Geophysics/Petroleum Engineering).
- Minimum CGPA 3.2 and above.
- Fresh graduates or relevant technical disciplines with up to 3 years working experience in upstream field.
- Superior written and vocal communication abilities, and the ability to operate both alone and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to work in diverse teams.
- Passion for energy, technology, and sustainability.
- Possess Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
