Position Overview:
We are offering a two-year apprenticeship program designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and practical experience needed to excel in your chosen field. The Graduate Sustainability Analyst supports the organization’s sustainability strategy by assisting in planning, reporting, data management, and capability-building initiatives. This role ensures accurate ESG data collection, compliance with recognized reporting frameworks, and promotes sustainability awareness across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting strategic updates, management briefings, and board submissions on sustainability progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Organize key data points and align content with business priorities.
- Coordinate with relevant business functions to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Support preparation of periodic sustainability reports in alignment with frameworks such as GRI standards.
- Gather inputs from business units, format according to framework requirements, and coordinate timely submissions.
- Collect and analyse sustainability-related data from internal and external sources to evaluate ESG performance.
- Apply quality checks and maintain standardized data templates for accuracy.
- Maintain sustainability documentation and assurance records using shared platforms (e.g., SharePoint) with proper version control.
- Assist in designing and delivering campaigns to enhance staff awareness and engagement in sustainability programmes.
- Providing support for business functions for various sustainability programmes to achieve PETROS’ ESG targets.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field.
- Graduated with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 and above, with less than 3 years of working experience since graduation.
- Relevant work experience in Sustainability Reporting & Compliance and Data Analysis & Management is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI.
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills (Excel, Power BI preferred).
- Knowledge of ESG principles and regulatory requirements.
