Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional responsible for delivering outcomes across the Downstream commercial function, supporting strategies and activities aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and lead commercial negotiations for Downstream contracts, partnerships, and joint ventures.
- Maintain and manage relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers to secure access to optimal markets and resources.
- Oversee the completion of all relevant Downstream commercial agreements, including gas sales, transportation, pipeline crossings, facilities sharing, access, tie-ins, handling, processing, and associated operational and maintenance agreements.
- Conduct and maintain Downstream market analysis and research to identify opportunities and mitigate risks in the industry.
- Maintain awareness of the Downstream organization’s products, services, and capabilities to support business growth.
- Coach and mentor Upstream/Asset commercial professionals, providing guidance and leadership to ensure achievement of their objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commercial, or other related disciplines.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Downstream commercial roles and/or the Oil & Gas industry.
- Working knowledge of the Downstream Oil & Gas business, typically supported by expertise in one of the core disciplines: economic analysis and planning or commercial acumen.
- Experience in areas such as commercial agreements, negotiation, and stakeholder analysis is an advantage.
