Position Overview:

This role will be responsible for driving efficiency and optimizing processes across PETROS’ oil and gas value chain. This role focuses on implementing methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement frameworks to enhance operational performance, reduce waste, and improve safety and quality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen events to identify and eliminate waste, reduce costs, and improve process efficiency.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and measure the impact of implemented changes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on continuous improvement principles and tools to build a culture of operational excellence across the organization.
  • Work closely with various departments, including operations, engineering, and supply chain, to understand business needs and champion improvement initiatives.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of improvement projects and ensure sustained results.
  • Utilize structured problem-solving techniques (e.g., DMAIC - Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) to resolve complex operational challenges.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Professional certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Continuous Improvement Lead/Specialist or a similar role, preferably within the oil and gas, energy, or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Minitab, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of project management principles and experience leading cross-functional teams.
