WHAT IS MY OBJECTIVE?

 

As the Supply Chain Lead at Petrosniaga, you will oversee all facets of Supply Chain operations to guarantee the seamless functioning of PETROS' LPG business on a daily basis. Your main duties involve developing contract strategies and tender plans for contracts surpassing RM10 million, ensuring adherence to PETROS' contract and procurement processes, crafting a detailed contract management plan, effectively overseeing contractors' performance, and strategically optimizing inventory management to bolster supply chain efficiency.

 

 

WHAT IS THE JOB ABOUT?

 

  • Develop contract strategy and tender plans for contracts exceeding RM10 million, aligning procurement processes with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with PETROS' contract and procurement processes, including regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and implement a detailed contract management plan, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and responsibilities throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Effectively manage contractors' performance by establishing clear performance metrics, conducting regular evaluations, and addressing any performance issues.
  • Optimize inventory management strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency, minimize stockouts, and reduce carrying costs while ensuring uninterrupted operations.

 

 

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY?

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Law, Quantity Surveying, or Business degree. Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in oil and gas tendering and contract management, with a demonstrated track record of handling contracts exceeding RM10 million.
  • Proven negotiation skills and experience in complex contract negotiations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian market, particularly within the oil and gas sector.
  • Familiarity with oil and gas procurement governance and procedures.
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new environments and industries. Professionals with no oil and gas experience are encouraged to apply.
