WHAT IS MY OBJECTIVE?

 

  • Support non-operated venture (NOV) Production, Operations and Maintenance related activities in alignment with business objectives.
  • Able to identify risk/conflict and opportunities through internal and external stakeholder management (including attending meetings/review) to safeguard venture interest through delivery of oil/gas production targets, asset integrity assurance, and safe operations in a cost-effective manner.
  • Supports Production Operations in reviewing production enhancement initiatives, uptime management, business planning and cost control and provides ideas/improvement recommendations.

 

 

WHAT IS THE JOB ABOUT?

 

1. Strategic and Operational Planning

  • Participate in operations meetings/site visits/audits to protect company’s value and to provide improvement ideas to maximize investment returns.
  • Assess operators’ maintenance plans and implementation effectiveness for reliable production and safe operations.
  • Embrace the Reds by suggesting improvement ideas and challenge the Greens through evidenced questioning and reasoning judgment.
  • Assist in reviewing operational excellence and cost leadership for cash call purposes and effective partnership.

 

2. Operational Excellence

  • To review 60-day production forecast, tanker scheduling & lifting plan, entitlement block program prepared by Operators and to provide technical and commercial view if required.
  • Analyse and benchmark the information across the years and across operating units to maximize the value of investment returns, obtain endorsement from peer and management for submission.
  • Manage performance against budget and plan for interventions via variance investigation and effective internal and external relationship.
  • Able to develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.

 

3. Process Improvement and Digitalization

  • Evaluate Facilities Improvement and Infill projects to contribute to production.
  • Able to embrace change, simplify the processes via digitalization in accordance with Pride in PETROS.
  • Undertake any other duties as reasonably required in line with skills, knowledge and experience.

 

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline with minimum 10 years of experience in energy industry.
  • 5 – 10 years operational experience in oil and gas business.
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with a desire to improve solutions, systems, and processes and capable of enforcing processes and procedures.
  • Internally motivated, able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel.
