PETROS Internship Program

We are thrilled to announce our PETROS Internship Program, designed to provide students with hands-on experience in your field of study and to help you develop your skills and knowledge.

• You make an impact and gain hands-on experience in a project
• In one way or another, your work facilitates us in carrying out PETROS purpose and meeting our targets
• Through this internship program, you will develop the interpersonal & leadership skills
• Interns will have clearly defined learning objectives, which will be communicated at the beginning of the internship
• After you’ve been placed, you, and your supervisor agree on which project you will undertake and on your specific development goals
• Interns will be assigned specific tasks, projects, or assignments that align with their learning objectives and provide practical experience in their field of study
• Your supervisor provides you with guidance, support, regular and structured feedback throughout your internship
• Interns are encouraged to seek guidance and ask questions to enhance their learning experience
• You participate in a formal mid-term review and an End of Internship Review with your supervisor

Eligibility

To be eligible for an internship at PETROS, students must meet the following criteria:

• Be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university and currently pursuing a programme in a relevant academic program that related disciplines where internship is a mandatory part of course completion.
• Have a CGPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Minimum duration of internship period of 12 weeks
• Be able to work full-time during the internship period.
• A great team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess the necessary skills and qualifications required for the internship position.
• Start date of the internship has to be after 1 May 2024 onwards.

Application Process

To apply for an internship at PETROS, students must submit the following:

• A resume
• A copy of their academic transcripts
• Copy of Industrial training/Internship letter (Signed by the University)

Applications must be made two (2) months prior to the internship period.

Selection Process

The selection process for internships at PETROS will include an initial review of applications, followed by interviews with selected candidates by the hiring manager.

Step 1: Submit online application through PETROS Career site.

Step 2: Shortlisted candidate may be invited for a phone / face to face interview if required by the potential supervisor.

Step 3: Successful candidate will be offered placement with PETROS. Only online applications with ALL the required documents submitted via PETROS Career site will be entertained. Postal/courier/email applications will not be processed and accepted.
