WHAT IS MY OBJECTIVE?

 

 

To spearhead the Maintenance & Reliability Engineering team, tasked with delivering comprehensive engineering support to PETROS Capital Projects as well as various business workstreams and asset teams. This pivotal role involves orchestrating the execution of engineering initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments, and optimizing maintenance practices to uphold the reliability and integrity of assets. By leveraging technical expertise and strategic leadership, the objective is to drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and enhance overall operational excellence.

 

 

WHAT IS THE JOB ABOUT?

 

 

 

  • Leadership role in delivering advanced expertise within the Maintenance & Reliability Engineering discipline, covering the entire project and asset lifecycle, spanning from frontend engineering and design to construction/commissioning and ongoing operational support.

  • Take charge of establishing, maintaining, and continually enhancing Maintenance & Reliability Engineering standards within PETROS. Drive technical assurance and uphold the quality of relevant engineering deliverables, while effectively managing changes and addressing engineering deviations.

  • Play a pivotal role in fostering the development of Maintenance & Reliability Engineering discipline competency across PETROS, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational objectives.

  • Engage in proactive coaching and facilitate knowledge sharing initiatives aimed at nurturing and expanding the expertise of the Maintenance & Reliability Engineering skill pool within PETROS, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

 

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY?

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with minimum 15 years’ experience (2 years in similar role) preferably from an oil & gas background
  • Experience in Maintenance & Reliability Engineering discipline across project and asset lifecycle
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members, management, and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills to effectively lead and mentor team members.
  • Having professional engineering accreditation and/or Technical Authority competency certification in Process discipline would be an advantage
